EVERYTHING IS FROM NATURE, FOR NATURE.
We focus on minimizing the environmental impact and we ensure that our next collection is always better than the previous one.
WE MANUFACTURE ALL OUR PRODUCTS FROM COMPOSTABLE MATERIALS.
Why Compostable? Well, that’s simple. It is our contribution to solving the environmental pollution caused by recycling conventional plastics. Basically, Tons of wasted plastics are eventually destined to be burnt or buried in land during the recycling process. In fact, most of the plastic that exists today has been made in the last decade.
We make our products from sustainable bioplastics, made from maize production residues and cellulouse.
Bioplastics are biodegradable materials that come from renewable sources and can be used to reduce the problem of plastic waste that is suffocating the planet and contaminating the environment. Does it make any sense to continue using fast plastics that can take centuries to disappear to pack products that only last days or months?
Plastic is the third most commonly used petroleum derivative in the world; each year 200 million tons of plastic are consumed on the planet. It comes from a non-renewable source, it is contaminating and non-biodegradable (it can take more than 1000 years to decompose).
Instead we use bioplastics, obtaining natural polymers from agricultural, cellulose and corn starch waste.
BENEFITS OF BIO-PLASTICS
They reduce carbon footprint.
They providing energy savings in production.
They do not involve the consumption of non-renewable raw materials.
Their production reduces non-biodegradable waste that contaminates the environment.
They do not contain additives that are harmful to health, such as phthalates or bisphenol A.
They do not change the flavor or scent of the food contained.
LOCALY PRODUCED RAW MATERIALS
We always ensure that all raw materials are manufactured localy where we produce our cases.
LOCALY PRODUCED BURLAP
The burlap (jute) fabrics we use in our bags/sleeves are farmed localy where we produce our bags.
NO UNNECESSARY SHIPPING
We work actively with our central warehouse and our customers to prevent unnecessary shipping.
We make sure to only use non toxic materials and paints, and printing techniques.
Our products always undergo detailed tests and certifications to ensure function, durability and sustainability.
The two internationally recognized certification marks - the Seedling Compostability mark and the DIN-Gepruft test mark for industrial compostability - are awarded on the basis of certification programs which have been developed in cooperation with interested parties and are continuously further developed. Both are based on the DIN EN 13432 standard for compostability and only awarded products that comply with compostability regulations.
The Forest Stewardship Council, or FSC, is an independent certification organization. Products carrying the FSC Recycled label have been verified by a third party certification as being made from at least 70% post-consumer reclaimed materials.
